Shane Rodgers is the author of Worknado – Reimagining the way you work to live. He is currently the publisher of the Newsreel news and information platform and CEO of a consultancy called Trendline Strategy. He was previously Queensland Head and national Chief Operating Officer of the Australian Industry Group. He is also a former General Manager of News Corporation Qld and Goodstart Early Learning and Marketing and Communications Director of The University of Queensland and Brisbane Economic Development Agency. In media, he was Queensland Editor of The Australia, National Editorial Director of APN Regional Media, Editor-in-Chief of Quest Newspapers and Deputy Editor, News Editor and Chief-of-Staff of The Courier-Mail. Earlier in his career, Shane worked in the Canberra Press Gallery, specialising in Economics and Industrial Relation.
